HeartRescue Call: Re-Analysis of 30:2 vs Continuous Compressions.

This came across my email this morning from the Resuscitation Academy and may be of great interest to those of you involved in CPA resuscitation.

We are pleased to welcome Rob Schmicker from the University of Washington Department of Biostatistics. Rob has over a decade of experience in cardiac arrest methods and is leading author on a "re-analysis" of the randomized trial that compared 30:2 versus continuous compressions for EMS CPR. The original study results were published 6 years prior. The re-analysis is just published and provides provocative findings. Both studies are attached HERE and HERE. I have also asked Peter Kudenchuk - co-author - to comment on the results and how it might be considered with regard to guidelines and clinical practice recommendations. Should be an interesting discussion.

Hope you can join.
