Prehospital Trauma Life Support Hybrid Course
Welcome to the UK’s first Hybrid PHTLS Course!
This NAEMT PHTLS Provider course is offered as a hybrid course where students take 8 hours of the course online followed by 8 hours in the classroom. This course is suitable for AAPs, FREC 4 and above, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognising them as PHTLS providers for 4 years.
How Does it work?
The Learner completes 8 hours of the online course content and completes the final MCQ exam (the student has a maximum of 2 attempts at the exam). If successful the Learner is emailed a certificate of completion from the NAEMT. The Learner then attends the training centre for a day of skills testing and simulations. The learner must have completed the online section of the course prior to the skills testing and bring a copy of their certificate as proof.
We will be providing the Learners with appropriate PPE and we will be strictly adhering to current Government distancing guidelines at all times.
Cost savings to the student
This course is the first of its kind in the UK. We shall be providing the AMLS and EPC courses in a blended learning format as well. This allows the learner to gain their NAEMT Provider certificates of course completion at a great savings in comparison to the traditional 2 day courses. The online portion of the course can be completed at times that are convenient to you.
